This stadium believe it or not, has become one of the most historical in the country due to the amount of huge superstar names that began their Minor League careers here. The first team to call this home was the Prince William Pirates in 1984, who would finish in 2nd place in the Carolina League. In 1985, the team would only finish in 4th place, but feature what is now, the most prolific slugger ever to play the game.
