Recreation Park II in San Francisco opened in 1907 and replaced Recreation Park I that had been destroyed by the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. It remained home to both San Francisco teams (Seals and Mission Reds) until 1930, with the exception of 1914, when they moved into Ewing Field for one season. The move was meant to be permanent, but they came back in 1915 (see Ewing Field gallery for details). They would both remain here until 1931 when Seals Stadium was built and both the Mission Reds and San Fran Seals moved Seals Stadium. During its era, neither the Reds or Seals were affiliated with any MLB club.
