Independent Baseball Stadium Photographs of Frontier League Stadiums and minor league baseball parks
One of the very first independent leagues during the “indy movement” of the early 90’s is the Frontier League. Begun in 1993 by Bill Lee (no not the spaceman)… the Frontier League played in little towns across eastern mid-America. Of the many independent leagues that began in this time, the Frontier League is not only one of the lone survivors, but perhaps the most successful of all. Frontier League ballparks have also won our Ballpark of the Year twice thus far and still use one of the eldest ballparks in Bosse Field in Evansville built in 1915.
