The Triple-A Pacific Coast League is one of the longest running Minor League systems in history. Dating back to 1903, the PCL was so popular along the West Coast that it nearly became a 3rd Major League system, and certainly operated like such. Teams like the Hollywood Stars, the San Francisco Seals and the Los Angeles Angels drew as much nostalgia as Hollywood itself. The tradition of playing in stunning and near Major League sized stadiums continues today with the addition of its newest ballpark... Southwest University Park in El Paso.
