Original Can Am League

Canadian-American League (Class C) Gallery of Ballparks and Baseball Stadiums utilized for the Class C Can Am League

This is the Original 1950’s Can-Am League. For TODAY’s Independent Can-Am League list of stadiums CLICK HERE.

Before today’s modern revival of the independent Can-Am League… the original Can-Am League played all over New York, Ontario and Quebec. There are a few cities from this original Class C Can Am League that haven’t had professional baseball since the league came to an end in 1951. Though it only lasted 15 years, this original Can-Am League was very beloved. It’s storied history and nostalgia was such that, it allowed the new independent Can Am League revival to thrive… bringing baseball back to some places and stadiums that had not seen the game played there since. Along with the Can-Am League… there were several other Minor League systems that spanned these borders during this period including the Border League and the Provincial League.
